US Constitution as a word cloud

Earlier, I posted the text of HR 3200 and the Senate Health Care Reform draft in the form of word clouds. George thought I should do the same for the US Constitution as a comparison. Here it is; compare and contrast:

United States Constitution as a word cloud

Right off the bat, I notice that the word States is most-prominent, followed by President, State, United, then Congress. Looking at the HR3200 cloud shows the word Section as most-prominent, then Secretary, then Health. Makes one wonder what the emphasis is on?

The Senate draft legislation cloud has Health featured most, then Section and Secretary. Word-wise, it’s an improvement.

(Here is this word cloud on Wordle.)

  1. Senate Draft Health Care bill in word cloud form
  2. HR 3200 Word Cloud
  3. And that’s bad, why?
